November 4th 2014 - Coniston Power Boats Records Week
The Coppermines Lakes Cottages are proud to sponsor Coniston Power Boat Records Week by once again accommodating members of the Osprey Powerboat Rescue Team as our guests.
Already in the beautiful November sunshine and calm waters, records are being broken.
Coniston remains one of the few places in the world where it’s possible to get a world record on water.
The weather for the rest of the week is set to remain sunny and calm.
If you are in and around Coniston, head down to the water’s edge to witness this spectacular event in action.

10th April 2014 - New Photos, Bee Bole House at Water Yeat
Bee Bole House at Water Yeat is a beautiful Georgian cottage, over 200 years old - it retains many original period features.
In recent months the cottage has been partly-refurbished by its owners with a brand NEW split level WOW kitchen and dining room

4th March 2014 - Good Luck Heather & Becca! - Coniston 14 Road Race 29th March 2014
As an incentive for them to take part they have decided to use the event as an opportunity to raise money for St Mary's Hospice, a local Hospice in the Lake District for those suffering from progressive illnesses.

1st February 2014 - New Cottage, Oak Tree Cottage, Coniston
This end terrace stone and slate built cottage has the advantage of being set back from the centre of Coniston village, which is just a few minutes’ walk away.
A cosy, romantic hideaway, lovingly cared for by the owners who are lavishing much care on its restoration. There is a lovely garden to the rear of the property perfect for sitting out and admiring the dramatic backdrop of the surrounding fells.

15th January 2014 - New Cottage, Beckside Cottage, Coniston
Beckside is a lovely four-bedroom cottage, personally looked after by the owners Martin and Lisa. Originally refurbished about 10 years ago, this year it will have new bedroom furniture, incl. 4-posted beds and versatile zip-link beds, and be freshly decorated.
The cottage is next to a bubbling beck, by the Catholic Church at Hawes bank. The fells can be walked from the door, The Ship Inn is only few minutes walk away. The famous Spoon Hall riding centre is just up the lane.
Beckside has a private garden, plenty of parking and views of the lake, which is also a few minutes walk away. This spacious property lends itself to larger groups of friends or families for the perfect holiday together.
