Situated amidst the mature wooded landscape of Stott Park, this cottage offers guests a peaceful woodland setting and benefits from direct access to Lake Windermere with free boat launching available. In addition, there is shared use of the lakeside picnic area & the adjoining woodlands - visited by a variety of wild animals including red squirrel & deer. Fishing, climbing, pony trekking & many other outdoor pursuits are available within easy motoring distance - so there is no excuse not to take advantage of this opportunity to really get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
The cottage is also a stone’s throw away from attractions such as The Lakes Aquarium, Haverthwaite Railway and Lakeland Motor Museum.

The lake is about 5 minutes walk away through Black Hole Wood which is a delightful natural habitat covering about 20 acres.
