- Beautiful village cottage
- Fantastic fell side views from the cottage garden
- Perfect for couples and small families
Yewdale Cottage is a small modern terraced property, found in a quiet cul de sac, centrally located in the village of Coniston and is only a couple of minutes from the all important fells, lake, pubs, tearooms and shops.
Yewdale Cottage is perfect for couples or young families, sleeping up to four, whether you're here to hit the hills or just relax. As you come in the front door, there's a small slate-floored hallway that leads you into the living room. Two double settees surround a working log burner, perfect for cuddling up in front of. Of course there's a TV and DVD player for evenings or keeping young children entertained along with Wi-Fi for those who want to stay connected. Herdwick sheep and Lakeland views adorn the walls in case you'd forgotten where you are! Moving to the back of the house takes you into the kitchen/dining area. The new contemporary kitchen has all the mod cons you will need and a good sized wooden dining table. And probably the best view to do the washing up too! Outside, there's a small gravelled garden with a stunning view to Long Crag: a great spot to enjoy al fresco dining or a barbecue (there's one provided). There's even a tiny babbling stream to add that special calming ambience. Upstairs the twin room has fell views, even from bed. What a great way to wake up!

|We have had a fabulous week in glorious sunshine. Our 2 year old has had a ball. He loved Beatrix Potter's House, the 'magic singing trees' in Grizedale Forest, and Wray Castle which is amazing for children. Such a lovely cottage. We have felt very much at home with all creature comforts at hand. Our 2 retrievers have been swimming all week and chilling in the garden. We hope to be back!|

|We have visited Coniston several times in the past, so we knew what to expecting and around the local vicinity.
A few new additions - The Steam Bistro made for a fresh experience. Sara's Indian provided us with a more cultured evening - extremely tasty.
If you want a warm, cosy setting with an ideal backdrop - Then look no further than Coniston.

|Our 6th visit! Just wonderful, mixed weather but we had a great time. We were very grateful for the Coppermines 'My Stay' card because I dropped my purse on a walk up the Coppermines Valley. Thanks to the 'My Stay' card the purse made it's way back to me, thanks to the person who found it, the staff at Hutchinsons and the staff at the Coppermines Office.
We have done several of the walks from the folder, really good, thank you!
