|Lovely cottage with everything we could need. Nice to have 2 ensuites and a well equipped kitchen. Great location to explore the lake district. Managed to get to Coniston,Windermere, Derwent water,Grasmere Wastwater and Ullswater. Also walked up 'Old Man of Coniston' around Tarn Hows and Loughrigg. The boys loved all the activities; kayaking, a motorboat, riding their bikes in Grizedale forest, Ullswater steamers, paddling, swimming and not to forget Go-ape! We all loved the food in the Royal Oak and so friendly. Taz loved all his tiring walks. Thank you. Also check the beach at Seascale for rock pooling|
