One of the best places to be based in Coniston is along Lake Road, ideally located for pubs and restaurants in the village and within easy walking to the Lake and fells. Hazel Cottage is in a quiet cul de sac off Lake Road, a modern detached single storey property, with a garage (great for bike storage) and drive, which can accommodate 2/3 cars.

A conservatory acts as the cottage's entrance and this is perfect for leaving your outdoor gear. From the hall, left leads into the living room, with its comfy sofas, wooden floors and real fire. Light and unfussy, this is a great room to relax in, after a full day on the fells or out sightseeing. Adjacent there's a dining area for six, and a modern kitchen with all the amenities that you'll need.

There are three bedrooms, which would easily sleep large families with 3-4 children. The master bedroom has French doors leading out to an attractive and enclosed lawned garden, with furniture, where younger family members can stretch their legs and get out from under parents/grandparents' feet. This cottage is a real home from home.
