- Central village cottage
- Minutes from Coniston Water
- Perfect for families
Beck Yeat is a modern single floored cottage in a quiet close off Lake Road, ideally positioned midway between the lake and village centre, each only a 5-minute walk away. And of course there's plenty of easy access to the surrounding fells and mountains.
As you come into the hallway, the living room is to your left. A comfy sofa and armchairs encircle the slate-surrounded open fireplace; no problem in picturing evenings spent enjoying a quiet tipple in front of a warming fire. As well as the usual TV and DVD, there are plenty of books and a hi-fi if needed. The dining room looks out onto the garden and seats six. Conveniently there's a cubbyhole giving access to the kitchen.
The kitchen has been refurbished in January 2014 and you can get out into the beautiful mature garden. Not overlooked and with a large lawned area, there's ample room for little legs to let off steam and for bigger legs to put their feet up and enjoy the surrounding views. Three flexible bedrooms can accommodate numerous combinations - though the mountain views from the front and garden views from the back are fixed! With its location and garden, Beck Yeat is ideal for holidays across the generations - grandparents, parents and children, all will find this cottage a home from home.
